Follow these tips to enjoy candles safely, and get the most out of them!
Never Leave Candle Alone
Always stay in the room while your candle is burning. Never leave a lit candle unattended, even for a short time. Extinguish it if you need to leave.
Burn For 2-3 Hours
Allow your candle to burn for at least 2 hours (or until the wax melts edge-to-edge) on the first use. This helps prevent tunneling and ensures an even burn.
Keep Away From Drafts
Place candles away from windows, fans, air vents, and doors. Drafts cause uneven burning, dripping, and excessive soot.
Maintain 1-inch wax pool
Never burn a candle when less than ½ inch of wax remains. Stop use when the wax reaches ½ inch to avoid overheating the container.
Keep Out of Reach!
Place candles on stable, heat-resistant surfaces and keep them away from children, pets, and flammable materials like curtains or books.
Extinguish Properly
Use a candle snuffer or dip the wick into the melted wax to extinguish. Blowing it out can cause smoke and hot wax splatter.
Store Correctly
Keep unused candles in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight to preserve scent and color. Store them upright to prevent warping.
Reuse The Container
Once fully cooled, clean out remaining wax with warm soapy water. Most glass jars can be reused as storage or decor.
